About Endodontic Treatment
Treatment for the diseased pulp tissue inside the tooth is called Endodontic Therapy, also referred to as Root Canal Therapy. An Endodontist is a dentist who specializes in the preservation of teeth.
Dr. Lester Reid, D.M.D., M.S.D., a highly qualified and experienced specialist, is our leading Endodontist. He has conducted research on the restoration of endodontically treated teeth using various post systems. The Journal of Endodontics has published the findings of this research.
For the past ten years, his peers have recognized him as a “Top Doctor” for all of his accomplishments in his practice and research on treatment methods. The American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society are all organizations to which Dr. Reid now belongs.
